This morning I was excited to get out of bed and get you up for your day, but you decided to snooze, maybe it was because you were having second thoughts about turning one or maybe it was Daylight Savings. While I waited to hear you, memories of your birth flooded my mind. What a rush of emotion that was! The pure joy of finally meeting you came! There was an instantaneous connection of love that ran through my heart and blood. You were ours all ours and you were perfect and beautiful. Meeting you was the proudest moment of my life. Now I've realized that after knowing, caring, teaching, feeding, cleaning, and providing for you my love only continues to grow. You are my little boy and I've loved you and will continue to love you! Happy Birthday Austin!
